Lucifer Hummingbird, male
The only other time I have seen this species is at this same spot (when it was the Ash Canyon B and B), back in August of 2004. Now they are "common" here! This little one seemed more calm and deliberate in his movements around the feeders, compared to his busy-body companions of other hummer species.
