Great White Egret Close-Up

I've been playing with Photoshop's Magic Extractor tool. I like this elegant bird on black, but I need to get a bit better at using this tool (some ragged edges on the underside of the head). I can't decide which version I prefer more, this one or the wider original. I like the composition of the original, but the detail of this version.
