Morning sun

At roughly half past five the first morning light is shining on "Nadelgrat", which is among the most famous ridge climbs in the Western alps, leading up to Nadelhorn (4327m, the peak on the very left). The Nadelhorn is located in the Mischabel group, Wallis, Switzerland.

Of course we were not doing this very difficult route, but we were heading for Ulrichshorn (3910m). This picture was taken approximately at half past five in the morning, after two hours of ascent from Bordier Hut.
