Many tents under many stars

We used the first September weekend to spend a night at Upper Robin Lake, a beautiful place in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness of the Central Cascades.

 

Due to its beauty it is a popular place to visit - but we still found a peaceful spot from where we could overlook Lower Robin Lake and watch the stars coming up above us, while lights marked all the tents surrounding the lake.
