Folding_iron_gates

This type of folding gate was very popular in the 50s - 70s. With the roller shutters becoming more common, the folding gates disappear one after the other.

 

Can anybody tell how the Chinese wording was pressed to the sheet metal ? I supposed they were hand-punched as there were only two to make for a set of gate.
