The benefits of actually reading Creative Loafing. My friend Steve (not Albini) did and called me to tell me that Shellac were playing an unadvertised show at The Clermont. Mount Shasta opened and Blondie did some of her poetry between sets including a beer can crush. All while the other girls were dancing. Quite an experience.
