Quicken Loans Arena opened in 1994 as Gund Arena. It changed its name in 2005 to Quicken Loans Arena after owner of Quicken Loans, Dan Gilbert, bought the Cleveland Cavs.

 

The arena does serve as the home arena for the NBA's Cleveland Cavs. This is inside the arena on January 31, 2012. The Cleveland Cavs hosted the Boston Celtics on this day. The Celtics would win the game 93-90.
