SKYSTRIKER XP-14F WING MECHANISM MODIFIED
This shows the separation of the Wing and Landing Gear system on the XP-14F Skystriker. The Switchplate which was designed to deploy the landing gear and control the variable geometry wings was modified by cutting the lateral gear teeth. An independent traversing bar mechanism controls the simultaneous wing movement. There are two versions of this design. Version 1 is for the Original 1983 Design and Version 2 covers the XP-21F, the 2011 Design which is seen in this video.
