Karkamış, railway brigde, perspective
This bridge is not often photographed!
It is located in the border area between Turkey and Syria, off limits to the public. Thanks to Bayram Altay and the goodwill of the Turkish officer, I was allowed into this area to take some pictures (bridge only, nothing concerning military installations or soldiers). At this point I would like to express my gratitude to the hospitality of the Turks! If Army, TCDD-staff or normal people, as a foreigner it is a pleasure to travel Turkey!
