Running Water
The convenience of being able to turn on a faucet and have running water, especially hot running water, is something that I have enjoyed all my life, and definitely take for granted. Here in the midwest water is abundant, and we have only once in my memory experienced drought conditions where we were told to limit water use. It’s easy to forget that in many parts of the world clean water is non-existant and people sometimes have to walk miles for their daily water supply. I’m very thankful to be living in an area of the world where clean water is so readily available.
