Ticlla- discontinuous warp technique

Practicing an ancient Peruvian technique known as ticlla on my backstrap loom. It uses a dsicontinuous warping method to allow color changes along the length of the warp. I have decorated it with supplementary weft motifs in a Four Seasons theme. It is a four-selvedged piece with each of the two panels having four selvedges. backstrapweaving.wordpress.com/
