Clematis 'Lasurstern'

Holder of the Royal Horticultural Society's prestigious Award of Garden Merit (AGM), 'Lasurstern' was first introduced in 1905, yet still holds its own among modern varieties. Its beautiful lavender-blue flowers have cream/green anthers and wavy edges. Regarded as one of the most handsome 'bluest' ( + lavender, faint central red bar flush on opening) clematis ever raised, it is showy and dramatic.
