regatta chaos
this is the chaos that happens when you don't check you boat properly before going on water, shoes weren't tied in correctly so it had to be remedied on the spot which is why you have a coach and even a coxswain helping. This last regatta was chaos right from the start, neither of our club captains were present to direct coaches and keep the peace, maybe this regatta this weekend they will pull together and work as one team even though we are two school competing against each other is some events, its a new affiliation this year with our school joining Bay Coast rowing club where the other school Bethlehem College have been rowing for some time, it should be one club one team but some old school people don;t want us there but we are in fir the long haul which will benefit everybody with more gear, better boats etc. I am in to minds whether to go or not, I don't feel comfortable around some of the people involved anymore, if I don't go I miss my only chance of seeing Jamie win a medal as the secondary school champs are in the south island and with no job as of friday can't afford it. Just so low and rung out, not looking for sympathy just stating how it is for me at the moment.
