Peacock
There were several Peafowls in the hotel compound we stayed in Punta Cana.
Every time I try to take a picture it turns its back to me.
So I asked my husband to shoo the peacock towards me.
It worked.
Some facts about Peafowl
•There are no blue or green pigments in the tail feathers of the male peacock. The colour comes from reflecting light at some particular angles.
•Only the male species have the tail feathers.
•The tail feathers start growing after 2 years and becomes fully develop after 4 years.
•The wingspan is about 5 feet.
•They can fly.
•The average life span is about 20 years.
