Inktober 2024 - sketching botanical prompts with MarenaART this year and loving them!
I loved sketching these delicate Chicory blossoms, one of my favorite wildflowers. It grows wild along the sides of the roads here during the summer. The blossoms appear in the morning and then close in the afternoon. I wanted to transplant some of these wildflowers to my yard, but my gardener friends tell me that they do not transplant well. I would hate to dig it up only to see it die in my yard! So, I will continue to enjoy it when I see it growing in the wild.
