Booton Clay Pit, season start 31.5.03
This is the sight that greeted me on the 31st May 2003 as I set my stall out for the week ahead. Some of the larger inhabitants collected at the small end of the lake, what a sight! My expectations were through the roof as I was there largely on my own... I had one fish for the week, 24lb 8oz, gutted!
