Mega-Structure...

View On Black

I recently purchased a small Nikon S3000 point & shoot camera to replace one I kind of damaged on holiday. With it came the usual Nikon software, for downloading, etc., but with this set there was an extra, a Panorama Maker!! Well, being an inquisitive type, I just had to have a go, and this image is the first result! This is made up of 6 images, stitched together by the software, how cool is that!!

The structure is the Harringworth Viaduct, situated in Rutland, just sort of East Northamptonshire/Leicestershire. This is a railway bridge and it has 82 arches. Each one having a 40ft span, making it over 1.8km long. It is the largest brick built structure of it's kind in the UK.
