At dusk this Chicago Junction crew is working Richelieu Foods in Elk Grove Village, a private label maker of pizza, dressing, and sauces. The CJR engine was still in its St. Paul and Pacific and "City of Watsonville" paint and markings. Later in 2024 it would be relabeled for Chicago Junction Railway and "Village of Elk Grove" with the same green and white paint scheme.
CJR is part of Progressive Rail which at one time also operated the St. Paul & Pacific (SPP) in CA. Progressive Rail operates over track owned by UP in this industrial park and over CPKC owned tracks in an adjacent industrial park in Bensenville with its Chicago St. Paul & Pacific (CS&P) shortline subsidiary. Both CJR and CS&P took over operations from Chicago Terminal, a part of the defunct Iowa Pacific Holdings.
