Exo Toa
I never had the set growing up; indeed, I only have a few Bohrok from the second year of Bionicle and after that, I only bought sets sporadically (the shift to Metru Nui really threw me off and much of the story thereafter never interested me).
But not having any fond memories of the Exo Toa doesn't mean I don't appreciate the design challenge it represents. My rebuild here is compatible with pretty much all my Toa builds save Pohatu, whose 'tail-bone' is two brushes too wide to fit into the required slot. I could fix that, I think, but the colour change wouldn't be great. Everyone else works more or less, certainly out of the big six - yep, even Onua! I may prove that if I get time this weekend.
Other than that . . . well, I knew I'd find a use for that Midak Blaster one day. And yes, the punching action works, though building that has left the inside of the arm a touch ugly.
