Gravy? Bowl & Dish

I love this set! I just got it a few weeks ago at a local shop. Only paid $2.00 for it! I'm not sure if it's for gravy or what. Guess you can use it for whatever! At first I thought it was a 'newer' item. When I got home I looked up the mark that's on the bottom, and found it was made in Austria by Karlsbad or Carlsbad in 1916-1918!
