Bridge under troubled weather

This is an iron bridge spanning the Mississippi River between Illinois and Iowa. The bridge has a train track on top and a road for cars on the bottom. Towards the end, a section of the bridge rotates as a part of the lock and damn that allows river traffic over what used to be rapids. The bridge is owned by the U.S. Army, and connects to Rock Island Arsenal. This is where the first bridge was established over the Mississippi River. This is where Lincoln served as a lawyer, and where Dred Scott lived with his Army surgeon master before taking his case for freedom to the Supreme Court.

This is where I took yet another night photo without a tripod.
