Andy says: This is a squares-in-squares pattern. With this one, I can just make every third or fourth one with a little white - so the fabrics you chose will shine, but there will be white as well.

Andy says: I like this because it is squares mixed with rectangles, but the thin white sashing is still there. It has more of a masculine look I think, but maybe I'm swayed by the blues and browns... :-)

Andy says: This is an option showing large squares bordered by white sashing. The mixed-color blocks are done in what is called a "log cabin" block. It doesn't let you see the details of the fabric as much, but it's an option if you like.
