Monday morning blues

The art workshop was devoted to the famous abstract expressionist Willem de Kooning en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willem_de_Kooning. which meant `action painting`, intuitive use of material, nothing figurative.

That is what I came up with plus a little poem which sprang to mind.

Yes, today IS Monday..:-)

 

Don´t hate me

too much –

 

I am no more than

a minor disaster

tiptoeing slowly

from one cup of coffee

to another…

 

I am just a gear

screeching in protest

against the onslaught

of duties.

 

Please, don’t waste me

either -

there shall come a time

when I will not bother you

ever

again.
