If you read the blogs updated on my website you might know that i recently was admitted in the hospital, and released Thursday morning. I was allowed to take these off two days after i was released. When i was getting them taken off i asked my mother (who drove 4 hours to help me after my surgery) if she could take off the one near my belly button because i thought that would be the one with the most blood, and the most painful... which it wasn't. Slowly as she worked her way around each one had more blood than the last, and the final one had the most blood. Of course. I kept them around to photograph them because i sort of felt like it was an important symbol of a lot of this year. Since class broke out for summer so much has changed for me. I've met people who changed my life, experienced emotions in a way i never thought i would, saw the most inspiring musicians, came to terms with a lot of relationships, joined Symphony Magazine, and ultimately i'm a lot happier and confident. This surgery was just another important thing that needed to happen.
