i saw the Sign
D O Building
I have no idea what this mid-twentieth century beauty might have once been. From the looks of the place, my best guess is a jewelry store. If you look closely there are sockets for neon tubing up by the "D" and the "O" painted on the tiles of the tower on the left. I'm guessing the tiles are some type of carrara glass. I wish I could find more into about this place.
Greeneville, Tennessee
121 South Main Street (U.S. Route 11E)
January 11, 2021 Update: This building was originally Dodd's Jewelers. The store was operated by Claude Park Dodd.
