Sumas Mountain, hike to the snow Dec.28.14

A fine group of 8 souls from our club, Ridge Meadows Outdoors Club. completed a 16.2 km return hike up to Chadsey Lake and Sumas Mountain Summit. We found a little snow at the lake, and a continuous cover of 7 to 10 cm snow on top. Views a little restricted by cloud... but a fine (dry) nevertheless.
Temperature near 0'C kept snow from thawing....
