Picture of soil

After performing the soil test, I determined that my soil was sand. The soil crumbled very easily and did not make a ball, even though it was moist. The light texture of the sandy soil allows water and nutrients to flow very easily. There were a lot of little insects in the soil that I tested. This may be because the soil is softer and allows the bugs to move around easier. I'm not sure that the insects have a big affect on the soil, but the numerous trees and weeds do. The vegetation affects the soil by soaking up water and nutrients, leaving the soil dry. I think this soil is very likely to be eroded because it is light and there are dogs and people roaming around the area weekly.
