Scrying Mirror
A pewter hand mirror object was also displayed, but interestingly projected no reflection. Some of the mirrors similar to this one lined the shelves, but contained blackened glass. I learned that these mirrors are used to reveal spiritual insights and to assist in self mediation, and are known as scrying mirrors. These mirrors are used in divination primarily, but can also serve unique functions for the individual practitioner for personal reflection.
