Pink Azaleas Step1

I took a photo of some beautiful pink to mauve azaleas in my garden and was immediately inspired to make a painting of them. This is a half sheet of Kilimanjaro 140 lb. bright white paper. Seems like I always tend to begin on the right side (my right). This is the first photo of the progression.
