Yesterday was rather overcast and drizzly so I sat just inside my backdoor with my camera to watch the birds. I think this must be the brightest yellow male Siskin I've ever seen! He was absolutely gorgeous and certainly brightened up the garden as he fluttered to and fro posing for me.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank those of you who have enquired about my progress after my recent chemo treatment and stemcell replacement. I am slowly improving, although I'm told it will be several months before I am fully over it all. It will be a couple more months before we can tell for sure how successful it has been. I'm feeling quite optomistic and really looking forward to the Summer in the hope that I can get out and about by the time the warmer weather arrives : )
