Circular garden concept, scale
This is a circular harden I´ve been working on for quite some time, it consists on a metal cylinder which holds the dirt in place, the seeds are held in place because I made sure of creating a very humid environment which holds the dirt in place above the metal mesh, and once the plants are grown you dont have to worry about it falling off even if it gets a little dry.
This particular garden is a 12x12x12 centimeter cube so its quite small Now... the lighting is provided by some LEDs inside a plastic tube, and then for more complexity theres a fan at the end :p .. thats what that black circle is, but it turns so fast you don't see it, I couldn't really make it work because its impossible to get engines that small, and they eventually break down so its a pain to replace, tho the thing can work just as well without it.
Unfortunately this was way too small for the grass... it grows too much so it crushes itself eventually, but in the meantime it looks quite fantastic for about 2 months so its not too bad
PD: this one is an earlier picture of the garden so it was just a prototype, one thing that went wrong was that i somehow thought it would be a good idea to put a paper around the tube, to hide the LEDS but it twisted cause of the humid environment and thats the white glow in the middle :p
