Benjamin Vautier ( ° 1934 Naples ) works mainly in France. Vautier becomes involved in the early stages of the Fluxus art movement. His works circled around defining art as a practice that unifies life, objects, and philosophy. “Evrything is art and everything is possible in art”. His production, both reflecting on art in its most fundamental and integrating our daily life in what is most specific, succeeds in making life an art. Thus entered into his work universes as distant from the artistic field as ethnism, ego or truth.
This work coud be admired in 2019 in the Villa Empain in Brussels within the framework of the exhibition “ Ekphrasis”.
