The New Highcroft, Old Fallings Lane, Wolverhampton
From Wolverhampton council's local list report (2008)
"Old Fallings Lane In a prominent position on a large road junction with a roundabout. A two storey building of maroon-buff brick with a hipped roof behind a parapet. Five bays symmetrically treated around a central entrance, then two further bays recessed to the right. This asymmetry is reflected in the positioning of the chimneys, with
one prominent on the main block towards the left end, to balance the extension. Heavy stepped-up surround to the entrance. The windows are round headed above and linked in recessed panels to those below, like the same architect’s Billa’s Bar, but this building is better preserved despite uPVC windows, and addresses the corner well."
