Stsmemelt Village
This has the appearance of an elementary school which we mistakenly assumed it was. The only thing not making sense was the rooms inside were way too small to be classrooms.
Later on when I researched it further, i found it was a housing complex for the younger special needs children and teens living at Tranquille. Built in the mid-70's, Stsmemelt Village was designed into 10 small apartment units with the goal of assisting the young residents into eventual transistion of home environments. Each unit had four children or teens and was very successful in teaching the basics of toilet training and speech therapy until closure in 1984.
