Martyboy2ofBritain says: My earliest recollection of the fair was riding one of these Always wanted to go on these and indeed visit the fair. Eat candy floss and get caught up in the atmosphere of all the fun of the fair. Modern day kids have so many other distractions now.

Martyboy2ofBritain says: My first football hero. What a goal machine. When England played Scotland at Wembley l used to live near the hotels where the respective teams used to stay. One was Hendon Hall hotel and the other was the Brent Bridge hotel which was demolished many years ago. l was on my own by the main door in the street waiting to see my footballing heroes. l used to stand there hours at one hotel or the other and yes they would come out into the street and go for a walk. l was always there with my autograph book and say could you sigh this please. l still have my autograph book full of footballers from yesteryear. Bobby Moore, Jimmy Armfield. Mourice Norman, Bobby Smith and so many others. Now they are what you call memories

Martyboy2ofBritain says: This Gracious Lady has been here my entire life. When l was a young boy l was taught that she represented Britishness to the core. She is a very lovely lady that takes her responsibilities as monarch very seriously. She does not publicly express political views but acts as diplomat in the truest sense of the word representing the best of what Britain has to offer the world. Long live the Queen . She is now 87 and has had a very influencial part of what we are about. l for one would be very upset when she goes
