Picuras Pueblo, New Mexico
I shot these snaps with Suzanne's Canon 60D rig, after I shot them on Portra 400 film. Altitude and a polarizer can sure give you some interesting and dark skies. I don't mind the uneven sky. I think it adds to the mood and emotion of the place. After we spent about 30 minutes shooting here, we were informed by the one and only local citizen, that photography was not allowed in the Pueblo. WE always honor and abide by local traditions and beliefs. But in this case, we were not made aware of that until after we had spent time shooting in here. :-(
