I thought of this idea while listening to The Rip Tide by Beirut– I got this sense of being alone with just myself, and my thoughts. This piece is representative of feeling scared of everything that’s going on in your head. Not really knowing what’s going on, because there are so many thoughts or ideas. It’s meant to evoke a sense of being very much alone with yourself.
