Georgetown Loop Train

For our grandson's 8th birthday, we took him up to Georgetown, Colorado on Saturday to ride the 1800's narrow gauge steam train on the "Georgetown Loop", and tour the silver mine there. We're not sure who had more fun...us or him! What a blast! The sound of the train whistle echoing off the mountains was a thrill and the scenery was gorgeous. We've lived in Colorado all our lives, but this was the first time we'd done this. As the train crossed the iron suspension bridge 90 feet above a rushing creek, our grandson turned to us and said, "This is the best birthday I ever had in my entire life!"
