Crull-Hammond Cabin - Douglas County, Colorado

This beautifully restored, historic little cabin sits right next to the road, near a golf course in my neighborhood. Today was so cold, the light dusting of snow hadn't melted by mid-day, which is when this picture was taken. I love the moody light, and the lacy branches framing the cabin.

 

The crummy barbed wire fence is disappointing. I wish they would put up something more in keeping with the cabin...maybe a split rail fence.
