Toad

Took this shot several years ago, in the dry creek bed near home. The toad spotted me, then froze (maybe thinking I didn't see HIM) allowing me to flop down on the ground, eye-to-eye, for several shots. He's a cool toad, I just wish I knew the scientific name. Anyone?
