Farewell old friend.
I know it's not old, but today, after 11 years (to the day!) of ownership, my mum sold her C3.
It wasn't ideally suited to the road my mum now lives down, a 3/4 mile farm track which gets quite steep near the end, and especially slippery in the winter, she's opted for a 14 plate Panda 4x4 as a replacement, and she seems happy with it.
I know modern Citroens have 'mixed' reliability, but this car was faultless during her ownership, the only big issue it ever had was down to sand getting in the brakes and wearing them down unevenly, I remember it making a screeching sound for a while too…Other than a few bulbs/fuses and perishables, it's not asked for much.
Farewell RV55OBA, you weren't bad.
