Quite a clean engine bay too, and it's been parked on the road for a week now, and left no more than a drip or two, which is promising. Oil levels fine, coolant fine etc etc, this does seem to have been pretty well maintained mechanically by the look of it, or its just sheer luck….
108k worn pretty well, it went through a lot of use to begin with and then next to no use for a few years. My other ZX had a similar story, which seems to do cars favours.
Quite a rough wheel bearing on the front right though, which is beginning to get annoying.
I was told not to expect anything that fast with a non turbocharged XUD but by jove, if you get the revs/gears right, these things absolutely fly. Plenty of go and its a lot more comfortable at higher speeds than the TU in my other one.
