Consumer Goods

A sadly prescient book from 1937. From the introduction: "It is becoming increasingly apparent that the training of people to consume goods intelligently is quite as desirable a function of our schools as is that of preparing people to produce goods."

 

I think it would be nice if our schools taught kids to produce goods again. They've got the consumption thing down pat.
