A 1933 guide to vocations written in "simple, easy vocabulary" so it can be "used with profit by the younger pupils." According to a chart in Appendix IV, 1,058,987 children between the ages of 10 and 15 were gainfully employed in 1930. I guess that explains why this book was intended for younger pupils. Get a job, slacker!
