Short-eared Owl

Thank you so much everyone for your comments on my snowy owl!

This is Short-eared Owl - another first for me. Actually it was my second attempt to photograph them. The first one was a week ago under an overcast sky.

 

This time we were very lucky with the weather and the owls went out a few minutes before the sunset. It was awesome to watch these beauties in action!

I couldn't decide on which shot to post, so I posted three :)
