I heard some noise, as if somebody was walking in tall grass. I stopped and looked in that direction and I saw an adult female deer standing in the distance. She seemed to worry about something, but not scared. She looked at me and then she looked in the direction of the noise. I looked there too and this little one jumped from the grass and onto the trail! This is the moment he saw me standing there maybe 10 meters away from him. We looked at each other for a few seconds and then he decided he better run.
