Red-tailed Hawk and American Crow

I feel kind of responsible for this mobbing. The Hawk was sitting peacefully on a tall tree branch when I spotted him and, of course, I had to come closer to him. As soon as I crossed the road and headed to that tree, the Hawk took off and a few crows started chasing him for no reason. He was hit a few times, but didn't show any aggression towards the attackers.
