Aalto stool seat

Again, Aalto did not use plywood for the seat surfaces. Solid birch, milled from renewable forests in Finland was used. A finer veneer, upholstery, or laminate was put on the surface, and a strip of veneer was wrapped to protect and cover the edges. This stool lacks both the surface and edge veneer.
