another occasional visit to the boatyard on the site of pimblotts on the river weaver near northwich
some new houseboats have arrived , but the former fishing boat border star still sinks lower into the river and further along the rusty tug proceed still survives and in the distance more boats have found moorings
on shore the dilapidation is unchanged
how long this site can last in it's present form is unclear as planning permission for a housing estate and marina has been granted
in the meantime it remains much as it has been for several years
