Beat the Winter Blah for a Friend
I made this card for two challenges - Virginia’s Beat the Winter Blah challenge and the Friendship and Valentine challenge.
The green panel was made by splattering water on distress inks (antique linen, shabby shutters and broken china) which had been applied to white card. Both flowers have 3 layers and have been coloured with watercolour pencils. The flowers are coated with glossy accents and I put diamond stickles on each stamen. I used spiced marmalade distress ink on the base card and peony versa color on the scallop border. Just added machine stitching to finish. Sending to a friend to hopefully help her beat the winter blah!
